Ram Kaushik

Ram Kaushik has learnt Carnatic music from several vidvans and vidushis including Sri T.K. Govinda Rao and Neyveli Santhanagopalan. First and foremost, he considers himself a student and rasika of music, and is therefore deeply grateful to the varied influences, maestros, and countless "maanasika gurus" from past and present generations, who continue to shape his musical understanding. Ram performs at several concerts and lecture-demonstrations, both in the U.S. and India, including several as a duo with Shankar Venkataraman (sometimes been referred to as the “Columbus Brothers”).
